About Me
I place the highest value on rapport with my clients. I believe strongly that a non-judgmental environment can allow clients to be authentic, honest and comfortable enough to make healthy change. I strive to “be myself” so that my clients can do the same within sessions and ultimately in their lives.
I enjoy working with individuals seeking freedom from anxiety, depression, addiction/substance abuse, trauma impacts, grief/loss, adjustment, shame, and stage of life stressors. I know the role that good therapists can play in changing someone’s course, as well as, the importance of having someone who can walk with us through difficult times. I was inspired towards counseling by those who helped me in my own struggles early in life.
Therapeutic Approach
I implement a client-centered approach and use a combination of interventions including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as, the use of metaphor, imagery and narrative approaches.
